Lakefront Cabins
The Florentine Waterfront Hotel is a 10-unit lakefront hotel on the Oregon Coast near Florence, Oregon, where families can book a few cabins or the whole property for a reunion right on the lake. You'll wake up to the lake right outside your window, spend the afternoon out on the water together and end the night with the whole family gathered around a bonfire under a sky full of stars. Family reunions are some of my favorite stays to host. There's nothing quite like watching three generations take over the lawn, the dock and the fire pits for a weekend!

Every family gets their own cabin, with a kitchen, a newly renovated bath, lake
views and comfortable beds. We have 10 units across the whole property and 2 acres of grounds for you to explore. You're never more than a short walk from each other but everyone gets their space!

You'll never be bored here! We have kayaks, sand boards, fishing rods, fire pits, lawn games and a beautiful property to roam. We love taking families out for a group kayak tour! The kids will be busy exploring while the adults get to chit chat and relax!

The fire pits are right by the lake, and this is where the best stories come out. Grab a s'mores kit, pull up a chair and stay out until the stars come out. The nights here are dark enough to see them all! If you sit on the edge of the dock you may even see some shooting stars!

Every unit has a kitchen, with a full-size fridge, an air fryer, a toaster, pots, pans and a coffee and tea station. You have everything you need to whip up a meal and snack in between!

We're an extremely pet-friendly hotel and welcome both dogs and cats. Waste stations sit around the property, and we're happy to bring water bowls if you need them.
NOTE: Lavender Loft is our one pet-free room, so we kindly ask that you book a different room if you're bringing pets.

Our staff go above and beyond for every family we host. Whether it's setting up tables for a big dinner or adding a birthday surprise for Grandma, just let us know and we'll help make it happen. Our staff will be there to help you through the entire event!

Yes. The Oregon Coast has beaches, dunes, lakes and trails within a short drive of each other, so there's something for every age. At The Florentine, families have 10 lakefront units on Siltcoos Lake near Florence, with the dunes 5 minutes away and Old Town Florence 10 minutes away.
Yes. The Florentine is a 10-unit lakefront hotel just outside Florence, Oregon, and family reunions are one of the main groups we host. We're 10 minutes from Old Town Florence and 5 minutes from the Oregon Dunes, with room for up to 38 guests across the property. Here are our favorite things to do in Florence, Oregon while you're here.
The Florentine has 10 lakefront units on two acres on Siltcoos Lake, so a big family can stay together without stacking everyone into one rental. Book a few cabins or the whole property. Altogether we can host up to 38 guests across 19 queen beds, with rollaways available on request.
There are, though most are a single big house. The Florentine works differently: 10 separate lakefront units on two acres, so a large group gets private space per family plus the Funky Fortress as a shared gathering spot. We can host up to 38 guests across 19 queen beds, with rollaways on request.
A family-friendly hotel on the Oregon Coast needs room for everyone to spread out, something for the kids to do and a place where the whole family can gather. The Florentine has all three: 10 separate lakefront units, kayaks, lawn games and a fishing dock on site, and fire pits by the water where everyone meets at the end of the day.
The best ones give everyone something to do together without a schedule. Ours usually look like this: a kayak tour on Siltcoos Lake in the morning, an afternoon sandboarding at the dunes, a cornhole or bocce tournament on the lawn with a bracket that runs all weekend, one big family dinner cooked together in the Funky Fortress, and s'mores at the fire pits every night.
Summer is the most popular time for a family reunion on the Oregon Coast, with the warmest weather for kayaking, bonfires and the dunes. July through September is our busiest stretch, so book early. October through March is slower on this part of the coast and storm watching from your cabin is incredible.
Eugene Airport (EUG) is 1 hour 20 minutes away and Portland is about 3 hours, which makes it an easy meeting point for family flying in and family driving. Taxis and rideshares are limited out here, so plan on a rental car or carpooling from the airport.
Kids can kayak (we have kid-sized kayaks and life jackets for all ages), fish off the dock, roast s'mores at the fire pits, stargaze and look for the eagles on the property. The Oregon Dunes are 5 minutes away for sandboarding, and we rent sand boards and sleds on site.
The Florentine is one of the best family resorts on the Oregon Coast, with 10 private lakefront units on Siltcoos Lake and the Oregon Dunes 5 minutes away. Every household gets its own space, the kids stay busy on site with kayaks, lawn games and fire pits, and we were named the 2026 Eugene, Cascades & Coast Destination Award winner, rated 4.9 stars across 400+ Google reviews.
Give us a call or text at 541-305-7806 with your dates, headcount and number of nights, and we'll build you a custom quote. It would be an honor to host your family!
